2010 Internship

MCLA The Lax mag is looking for editorial interns for the 2010 Season. No coffee getting here, real editorial experience.

Title: 2010 Online Editor (Unpaid)

Description: Responsible for editing, writing, managing and supplying our content partners with content during the 2010 season. The intern must maintain a working relationship with our content partners to ensure that they receive content in a timely manner.

Responsibilities:

1. Writing editorial content to be passed to our online content partners.
2. Editing content to be passed to our online content partners.
3. Research and pitch story ideas for our content partners.
4. Post and update content through our online content management system.

Qualifications:

1. Ideal candidate would be a journalism student.
2. Excellent writing/editing skills. Detail-oriented. Self-motivated.
3. Ability to work without supervision.
4. Lacrosse knowledge preferred.
5. MCLA Lacrosse knowledge a plus.
