adidas National Games July 5-8, 2010

We know just how hard you are working to build your program.  It is our intention to provide you with support and assistance in your summer recruiting efforts. Please mark your calendar to attend the adidas National Lacrosse Classic July 7-8, 2010 at the Maryland Soccerplex in Germantown, Maryland.  

This is not a club team tournament. The teams do not pay to play in the National Games. Players have been selected by high school coaches from tryouts held during the past 12 months to represent their region. 20 high school underclassmen teams from 8 different regions of the United States will compete for a National Championship in recruiting showcase for you.  We are finding "diamonds in the rough" as well as known stand-outs at the regional tryouts. The adidas regional team tryouts are open to coaches.



About the adidas National Games:

1. A. Each team has a roster size of 25 players.  A total of 500 of the top high school underclassmen players (entering grades, 10,11 & 12 next fall) will compete in the showcase event July 7-8, 2010.
   
   
2. Teams are not allowed to meet or practice together prior to or after July 5-8, 2010 in Maryland.
   
   
3. The teams do not pay to play in the adidas National Games.
   
   
4. 4 Divisions of 5 teams each.  Each team will play 4 "play-in" games to determine seeding for the Play-Offs. The top 2 teams in each division will play in the adidas Elite 8 Games.
   
   
5. College lacrosse coaches will select 50 Players to play in the adidas All-Star Game.
   
   
6. College lacrosse coaches will receive VIP Parking, complete Player Contact Data and Team Roster Booklets, Coaches Hospitality Cooling Tent catered with food and drinks.
